The three witches in the play Macbeth are like narrators that foreshadow the plot. The three witches first predicted that Macbeth was going to be king and Banquo's sons will become descendants of the throne. Which is extremely important for because of this, the plot is commenced and people die afterwards. Odd how witches have a important role back then, now they are just seen as fictional characters. All thanks to science which is able to explain the "magic" that witches would do.
