Even though we are not certain if she committed suicide, it is believed she did so due to her insanity increasing throughout the play. It is not known how she committed such an act the only thing that is mentioned is a female scream behind the scenes. I think it's quite odd of how it happened, also Macbeth reaction is extremely odd and kind of foreshadows death anyways with him saying that she was going to die sooner or later.
